How CapshoHQ works

CapshoHQ is two things: a plugin that puts a team of specialists inside Claude Code, and a folder on your machine where everything they learn about your business is written down. That's the whole model, and this page explains it in two minutes.

The one thing to understand

You install the plugin once per computer, and the team is then available in every Claude Code session on that machine. But the plugin only gives the machine the team — it doesn't make a place for them to work. That place is a hub: one folder holding a .capsho-hq/ marker, and usually your business itself.

This is why people think nothing happened

Until a hub exists, every background hook stays silent — you install the plugin, open a folder, and it looks like nothing changed. It hasn't broken. Say set me up and Monty makes the hub in one step.

Three moving parts

1

The team

Eight teammates — Robin, Margo, Quinn, Theo, Remy, Nico, Ellis and Sonny, the showrunner — plus Monty on the door. Fifty-three skills between them. You never need their names: say what you want in plain English and Monty routes it.

2

The memory

Three folders in your hub. Brain is what's durably true about the business. Desk is what's in flight. Library is finished work. Plain markdown, on your disk, yours to open and back up.

3

Always-on

The hub's CLAUDE.md loads every session, one hook injects the Brain and Desk when a session starts, and another re-injects the roster on every message — so the team can't quietly stop being the team halfway through a long conversation.

Where your business actually lives

In the usual case your hub is your business, so one folder holds all of it:

  • Brain/what's true — the business, the customers, the voice, the numbers, the decisions and why they were made.
  • Desk/what's in flight, dated, one file per thread. Untracked work is forgotten work.
  • Library/finished deliverables you can reuse.
  • projects/your code. Sites and apps belong here, not in Library.

Alongside them sit CLAUDE.md, founder.md (how you like to work) and patterns.md (the things that have proven true across everything you run).

What you need

  • Claude Code, with a paid Claude plan. That's Anthropic's, not ours — we don't take a cut of it and CapshoHQ can't replace it. It's the engine everything here runs on.
  • Git and Node.js. Claude Code already runs on Node, so you almost certainly have it.
  • A folder for your business. Documents\Capsho, or whatever you already call it. It doesn't have to be empty and nothing in it gets moved or renamed.

Nothing is sent to us

Every file above is on your machine. There's no account, no sync, no Capsho server holding your business. The team reaches out to a tool only if you connected that tool in Claude Code yourself.
