Capsho

Terms

What you get, what you can do with it, and what happens if you want your money back. Written to be read once, in full, without a lawyer.

In effect 7 August 2026

Who you are dealing with

CapshoHQ is sold by Capsho LLC, a limited liability company registered in Austin, Texas and run from Portland, Oregon. These terms apply when you buy it or use this website. Buying means you accept them - which is why they are short enough to actually read first.

What you are buying

A one-time purchase of CapshoHQ: a set of files you download and install onto your own computer. Not a subscription. Not a login to a service we run. There is no recurring charge and no seat count.

You need two things we do not supply: Claude Code, and an Anthropic subscription to run it. You pay Anthropic for that directly, it is not included in what you pay us, and its cost is not ours to set or control. If you do not already have it, buy the guide or talk to us before buying CapshoHQ.

What you can do with it

You own your copy. Specifically, you may:

  • Install it on the computers you personally work on.
  • Use it for your own business, and for client work you are paid for.
  • Change any of it. Rewrite it, delete parts, bend it to how you work.
  • Keep and sell whatever you make with it. Anything you produce or build using CapshoHQ is yours outright. We claim nothing in it.

Two things you may not do, and they are the same thing twice:

  • Resell, republish or give away CapshoHQ itself, in whole or in substantial part.
  • Share your key, or buy one key for a team that would otherwise buy several.

Updates, and what happens if we stop

While we publish updates, your key gets them. If we stopped publishing tomorrow, the copy on your disk would keep working exactly as it does today - there is no licence check inside the product, nothing phones home, and nothing expires. We could not switch off your copy even if we wanted to.

That is the entire point of buying this rather than renting something. It is not a promise we are asking you to trust - it is a thing we built ourselves unable to do.

Refunds

30 days, your money back in full, and no forms. Email hi@capsho.com within 30 days of buying and say you want a refund. We ask one thing first: install CapshoHQ, use it, and send a screenshot or two showing you did. You do not have to justify the decision itself, or sit through anyone trying to talk you out of it.

If you could not get it installed, we do not ask for the screenshot. Say so and we will offer to get on a call and set it up with you first. That is an offer, not a condition. Turn it down and you still get refunded.

If something has gone wrong, please email us before you contact your bank. A chargeback takes weeks, costs us a fee on top of the refund, and gets you your money slower than just asking us would. We will not argue with you about it.

When we refund you, your key stops working for downloads and updates. You keep the files already on your computer, and you keep everything you built with them. We do not ask for any of it back. Taking back what you already own is the one thing this product is built not to do, and a refund is not the exception to that.

One refund per customer. Buying again after a refund is fine; a second refund on the same product is not.

None of this reduces any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law where you live. Where that law gives you more than this page does, it wins.

Belong, if you join it

Belong is separate from CapshoHQ, and it is the one thing here that recurs. It is $97 a month, charged when you join and on the same date each month after, until you stop it. Section 2 above is about CapshoHQ and stays true: that purchase is one-time and nothing about it is a subscription.

What you are paying for is access to people and time, not software: a room of other owners, the founder reachable when you are stuck, and a hackathon day each month. It is not a licence, and it does not unlock, extend or enable any part of CapshoHQ.

Founding members keep the rate they joined at. If the price of Belong goes up later, yours does not move for as long as you stay. Leave and rejoin later and you join at whatever the price is then - the lock follows the membership, not the person.

Cancel whenever you want. Email hi@capsho.com and say so. There is no form, no notice period, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. Your next charge does not happen, and you stay in for the month you have already paid for.

Cancelling Belong never touches what you own. CapshoHQ is yours outright, it is already on your computer, and it keeps working exactly as it does now - the day you leave and every day after. Belong has never been the thing that makes it run.

The 30-day guarantee in section 5 is for CapshoHQ. Belong works differently, because you can leave at any point and stop paying rather than having to decide inside a window. If you join and something is wrong, email us and we will sort it out - we would rather refund a month than have someone feel stuck in a room they did not want to be in.

None of this reduces any cancellation right you have under the consumer law where you live. Where that law gives you more than this page does, it wins.

What we do not promise

CapshoHQ is a set of instructions for an AI, and AI gets things wrong. It will sometimes write something inaccurate, miss something obvious, or confidently produce rubbish. Check its work before it goes anywhere that matters - before you send it, publish it, bill for it, or make a decision on it.

We do not promise it will make you money, save you a particular number of hours, suit your business, or work for a purpose we have not described. It is sold as it is, and the refund in section 5 is the remedy if it is not for you.

Keep your own backups of your work. The files live on your computer, so their safety is on your side of the line, not ours.

If something goes badly wrong

If we are ever liable to you for anything connected to CapshoHQ or this site, that liability is limited to what you paid us. We are a two-person company selling a one-time product; we are not in a position to carry the consequences of how a business uses it, and pricing it as though we were would help nobody.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited - including for fraud, or for anything your local consumer law says we stay responsible for.

When we can revoke a key

Rare, and only for:

  • A refund or a chargeback on the payment behind it.
  • Sharing or reselling it, as covered in section 3.
  • Payment fraud.

Revoking a key ends downloads and updates. As in section 5, it does not and cannot delete the copy already on someone's computer.

Changes to these terms

We can update this page. If we change something that matters, the date at the top changes and we email anyone who has bought from us. Changes are not retrospective - the version in force when you bought is the one that covers your purchase.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, where Capsho LLC is registered, and its courts hear any dispute about them. This does not take away the protection of the consumer law where you live - if your state or country gives you more than this page does, you keep it.

Before any of that, email hi@capsho.com. Almost everything is a misunderstanding that a reply fixes.

Our privacy page covers what we hold about you, which is less than you would expect.

Questions about anything on this page go to hi@capsho.com. A real person reads it.
